Letter, September 12, 1945, from Connie Mack to Harry E. Sudall thanking him for an article on Fowler's no hit game. Mack also assures Sudall that the Athletics will have a winning team in the 1946 season. This letter was not signed by Connie Mack. The letter was written on the American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia letterhead.

Connie Mack played for the Washington Statesmen (1886-1889), Buffalo Bisons (1890), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1891-1896). Mack is best known, however, as a manager.
